Nike Foamposite

A truly unique innovation from Nike, the Foamposite was first released in 1997. Created by Nike designer Eric Avar, the shoe is made of a unique foam material that was shaped using specialized molding— a process that made Foamposites remarkably expensive when they were released. The first Foamposite also served as the foundation for a family of models including the Foamposite Max, Flightposite and more. Key Foamposite colorways include the Foamposite Max “Metallic Silver,” Foamposite One “Wu-Tang” and Foamposite One “White-Out.”
