Nike SB

Although it started its life as a basketball shoe in 1985, the Dunk evolved into the Nike SB Dunk in 2002. Nike’s skateboarding division added a padded tongue and Zoom Air cushioning, lending the silhouette its credentials. To celebrate the new design, Nike offered up the SB Dunk to its community of skateboarders and skate retailers, creating collaborations like the “Pigeon” and “Reese Forbes” Dunks as well as many other themed colorways. The SB Dunk gained momentum over the next few years and has come back into the spotlight. Key colorways include the Jarritos, Alexis Sablone and Verdy versions.
