Nike Dunk

A close cousin to the Jordan 1, the Nike Dunk was released by Nike in 1985. Designed by Peter Moore, the Dunk was first introduced to accompany NCAA team colors through the “Be True to Your School” program, which issued matching colors to schools like Syracuse, Michigan, and five more. In 2002, a new chapter was added to the story of the Dunk when Nike’s skateboarding division created the SB Dunk, featuring additional padding and Zoom Air cushioning, making it skate-ready. Today, the legacy of the Dunk remains unparalleled. Popular colorways include the “Panda” Dunk, as well as Dunk collaborations alongside Off-White.
