Nike Air Max 98

1998 marked the introduction of the Air Max 98, the successor of the previous year’s Air Max 97. Featuring the same full-length Air Max sole as the 97, the 98 was created by Sergio Lozano, who also designed the Air Max 95. Although the 98 never transcended its status as a performance runner to be as collectible as some other Air Max models, 2016’s Supreme collaboration did change the perception of the 98. Key colorways include “Gundam,” “On Air: NYC La Mezcla” and the Supreme x Air Max 98 “Black” version.
