Nike Air Flight 89

As a part of Nike's Flight collection, the Nike Air Flight 89 debuted in 1989 with a design optimized for speed, quick pivots and graceful maneuvers on the hardwood. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Flight 89 borrows its sole unit from a shoe that came out just a year earlier: the Air Jordan 4. Reportedly, the Air Flight 89 could have even been designed with Michael Jordan in mind. Key colorways include “Dark Royal Blue,” “Black” and “Triple White.”
