Borrowing design cues from the 1991 Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Huarache, the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2k4 is a performance basketball model designed by Eric Avar. As a fan of the model, Kobe Bryant famously wore the Huarache 2k4 when it was released in 2004 before he was given his own official signature model in 2006.
