Puma Basketball Shoes

In 1973, PUMA created the NBA’s very first signature model with the Clyde. Adapted from the PUMA Suede, the Clyde was named after Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier, the Knicks point guard known for his style on and off the court. In the 1980s, court silhouettes like the PUMA Sky series and the PUMA Ralph Sampson built the German brand until the Vinsanity of the 1990s. Vince Carter joined PUMA before his first NBA season, wearing PUMA Cell models and his own signature PUMA sneaker as well. Today, PUMA’s hoops division counts the likes of LaMelo Ball and Breanna Stewart as its biggest signature athletes.
