Air Jordan 29

2014 marked the arrival of the Jordan XX9. Clad in a “Black/White/Red” colorway with Jordan’s signature cement pattern on the upper as well as the midsole, the Jordan XX9 was one of Tinker Hatfield’s last designs for the Jordan franchise. Described by Nike as the world’s first woven basketball shoe, the shoe took its inspiration from Italian tailoring. Upon its release, the shoe also set a new Jordan benchmark as the lightest shoe in the lineage. Noteworthy Jordan XX9s include the “Year of the Goat,” “Team Orange” and “Photo Reel” editions.
