Damian Lillard’s partnership with adidas dates back to 2012 when the German sportswear brand signed Dame ahead of his rookie NBA season. The collaboration has produced eight signature sneakers to date, which utilize adidas’ performance technology like Bounce and Lightstrike cushioning. The adidas Dame collection has also produced several limited-edition collaborations, such as 2018’s BAPE x adidas Dame 4, which saw the mid-top court shoe decked out in BAPE camouflage. The Dame 7 also saw limited colorway inspired by Sulley from Monsters, Inc., while the Dame 6 was treated to a McDonald’s colorway.
